5th Annual Mitzvah Walk

Sunday, April 22 at 11 am

Our Annual walk-a-thon is a fun and fit activity for all TBS Congregants.  Our walkers are sponsored for their participation and all the funds raised are used to help the needy purchase groceries and necessities.  This year our joy is even greater because the students from Temple Israel Religious School will be walking with us.

Our goal is to help the fundraising committee raise at least $2,500 for our gift cards for the needy program.  Nearly everyday, families that are homeless or in distress come to TBS to seek financial assistance.  Our congregation is helping with the important mission of Tzedakah on our own doorstep by providing Publix and Wal-Mart gift cards so these families can purchase desperately needed food and everyday essentials.

It is our hope that we raise enough money at this event to carry us the rest of the year and enable us to continue the Mitzvah of Tzedakah to those who need it right in our own backyard.

All donations are tax deductible!

Sponsor a participant or become a walker yourself!  All congregants are welcome!
